The residential Assisted Living apartments at Eastern Star are open to individuals who are still mostly capable of performing all daily tasks, such as: getting around and eating on their own, transferring by themselves or with the assistance of only one person, dressing/undressing independently or by accepting minimal direction, and managing incontinence problems, with some assistance if necessary.  

It is important to understand that Eastern Star Courtyard Terrace Assisted Living is not a skilled nursing home or health center. Our residents are still active seniors enjoying retirement life and are not dependent upon staff for their total daily care needs. If an individual's health care needs change, there is the added assurance of admittance into any of the other levels of care offered by the Eastern Star Masonic Home continuing care retirement living community.   As an alternative to Assisted Living, learn more about our Residential Care Facility (RCF)—a highly affordable option for supportive retirement living.

23 of the Courtyard Terrace residences are two-room units with one bedroom and a combined living room/kitchenette area. There are also two (2), two-bedroom units available as well. All Courtyard Terrace Assisted Living residences include:

Private bath with easy-access shower
Ample closet space
Individually controlled heating, ventilation and air conditioning, per unit
