Eastern Star Residential Care Facility (RCF) offers Boone seniors a unique option to live as independently as they like, while gaining the added security of help when it’s needed. RCF is also a great value…with a high level of services and amenities for less money, when compared to the costs of paying for Assisted Living. Our Residential Care units are a mixture of single rooms and larger couple’s suites, with two different levels of care available, depending on an individual’s need for assistance with the activities of daily living (ADLs).

Level I residential care services are for residence who are primarily active and independent—many still drive their own cars and most participate in numerous outside activities. They self-ambulate and may require some nursing supervision, such as assistance with medications, but they require no assistance with eating or dressing.

Level II Residential Care services are for residents who may be experiencing difficulty with daily activities due to memory or physical impairments. They may have trouble with ambulation, need assistance dressing, or be exhibiting initial stages of dementia…but they are not quite in need of the more intense services offered in Eastern Star’s Health Center.

The main benefit to all Residential Care units is privacy and peace of mind. Residents take comfort in knowing we have a dedicated nursing staff on hand 24-hours a day, with friendly and caring people that get to know you individually, and are compassionate to your needs. Aging with dignity, respect, happiness, and as much independence as possible is always our focus.

At Eastern Star, we believe that staying active is a very important part of keeping the mind and body healthy and vibrant. We offer a very diverse activities program for residents and encourage daily participation to maintain vitality. Socializing with neighbors and interacting with others who share similar interests enriches the lives of all. On any given day, you’ll find residents enjoying an array of fun events such as movies, shopping trips, card games, exercise classes, parties, picnics, religious programs, and more.
